The new "motto"…..Simplicity!

Today is June 1!  May shoots are completed, galleries are current, and I am taking some time off through June 15th.

  • IF you have had a recent shoot your gallery will be up within the 3-4 week time frame
  • IF you have placed an order it will be available for pick up once you recieve an email notification

I am making some adjustments to the JGP schedule for 2009. I am very passionate about keeping my pricing affordable. I have had suggestions to raise prices that will then reduce the number of clients because of the increase.  That’s not what my biz is about. I have promised to be affordable, and I plan to continue to keep my pricing the same. With that said, I have to make adjustments to my schedule to allow what I SAY my priorities are to BE my true priorities.  Just a few things for you to know is:  I am a wife of a husband who works FT on weekends and goes to school FT M-TH; a Mommy of 3; I homeschool our 9, 6 and almost 5 year old kiddos—–these are my number one priorities.  I just have to be honest.  THEN….I have a fabulous photography business that is growing and I am enjoying so much. After praying for so long on what to do, I have decided to scale back throughout the year to only 4 shoots a month and then book MINIs for Christmas! 

Here are a few tidbits of what is to come this year!

  • JGP is taking up to 4 photo shoots per month. 
  • Christmas MINIs will be on 3 separate days
  • Orders for Christmas will be completed by November 15th
  • After your shoot–it may take up to 4 weeks for you to have your gallery posted
  • Once your order is placed and invoice has been paid, it can take up to 3 weeks for your orders to arrive
  • I have a few open appointments for July and August.  **Schedule early!

**I will still take my newborn baby appointments when they arrive….no worries! :)

So, I am so excited that Spring is almost here!  I am excited to to welcome Deer Creek Schools and North HS peeps to the site!  If you know any teachers or school staff, I have a fun promo for them going on over Spring Break.

Don’t you worry though. For all of you that are doing NOTHING over break and want to catch some MINI action with JGphotography…let me know. I am opening up March 15-18th for MINIs.  Details will be coming!

It's the final countdown….

I know, I know…the blog posts are pretty cheezy. My mind works like a song and there is always some lyric that comes to mind when I am posting. :) I am letting you all know that it is just about time for the 2008 season to come to a close. If you have any prints or gifts still pending or waiting to be picked up, the latest date to get these picked up will be Friday at 5pm.  I will be leaving town and will not be back in the office until after the 1st of the year!  I have had the most blessed season and meeting so many new clients has been fabulous!  Thank you so much and I look forward to talking to you all soon!  Keep your bloglines up to date and watch for the new year postings.  I am so excited to plan and vision cast and then present all the fun new things to you all.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

Ok, so….now that I have screamed this in my house and typed it out how I feel, I have to let many of you know that you are NOT getting my emails. All the galleries are up and posted and I have emailed you the link (last week).  Unfortunately, I am coming to find out that my emails are not being received. Correct…this is a HORRIBLE situation. If you are one of those not getting any information from me, I am so sorry and I have no idea why. Let me know (yes, you can call me–I am really not mean I was trying to be overly productive and it bit my hiney! ) Let me know what I can do to get your questions answered!  Have a great night and don’t freak! We are still good on time!

Getting ahold of the infamous (hahaha)….JGP girl!

So, I am crazy busy, as you all know. I want to remind you that the very best way to get ahold of me is through email.  I am still full time Mommy so being on the phone is not near as positive experience as many may think. It is all coming together!

I just want to give a quick update. Orders have been made, the lab is working hard, I am working my hiney bone off, you are all (really…all of you) are being patient, and it is all coming together.  If you are waiting for your gallery to be up, it will be up in the next two days. Just watch on the blog or for an email to say that it is up and ready to view.  I am working until the wee hours of the night to bring them to you as soon as possible!  All the JGP shoots are done so all that it is left to do is wrap up these last few gallery posts, a few little orders, packaging, and some ordering appointments. It is going to all happen before the big December 15th goal!!!  Thanks for being so great this year!  Have a great Wednesday night!!

As you can see at the time of this post that it is after 11pm Monday night.  The count down has begun and those of you waiting for your galleries, don’t worry….we have just a few more days until they will be up for review.  You will have your gallery to view by December 5th at the latest!  Once this is available, you will be able to choose your image for your Christmas cards and gifts and then place your order.  Great thing is the lab is working super fast and so we are working as fast as possible to get these out for you to have in decent time for Christmas!  Check out the goodie bag and the printed items so that when your proofs are available half the battle is won!!  Thanks for your patience in this crazy season!!

OH….also, watch for the new soltered jewelry to be displayed soon!  So fun!

Here is what's up…A must read for clients!

So, as many of you know, life is crazy insane at JGP!  I appreciate your patience, and want to give you some time lines so that we are all on the same page.  I want to promise everyone a few things first…I work in order of appointments and then by first to order.  What this means is:  I begin editing each clients photos in order of their shoot. After they are posted, gallery given an ordering appointment takes place.  Orders are then placed once payment is received. If you have placed an order, but your payment has not been received, then once that is done, your order will process. A lot is going on and with so many shoots, orders, etc.  The typical time frame of 2 weeks etc. is a little off. I will however shoot, edit, post and order to the fastest of my ability.  Everyone is anxious and most are patient. Just want you to know what goes on behind the scenes and with 35+ clients things get a little crazy.  So….all of that being said. No worries on your galleries or orders, just a friendly reminder on patience.  Please remember orders begin when payment has arrived to me.  

DEADLINES: 

  • Photo shoots are over. I will not be accepting any more photo shoot appointments for 2008.  If you are already scheduled then this does not include you. :)  
  • All orders that are for Christmas must be ordered no later than DECEMBER 5th. Remember that when your gallery expires, there is a $25.00 re-hosting fee.  Please plan to place your order within the week your gallery is available.  This is part of the timing of my work flow process.
  • As soon as your order has arrived, you will be contacted for pickup.

Thanks again for your patience. Holidays are so much fun but I know that we are all on deadlines. I am hoping to get your photos, orders, and gifts all done in a very quick and timely manner.
